With the rapid technological advances taking place in the engineering profession today, continuing education is more important than ever for civil engineers. In fact, it is now mandatory for many, as an increasing number of engineering licensing boards are requiring Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for annual license renewal.
Water Distribution Modeling includes over 100 hydraulics and modeling problems designed to reinforce the hydraulic principles and modeling techniques covered in each chapter. The accompanying CD-ROM contains an academic version of Haestad Methods' WaterCAD and complete documentation, which can be used to solve many of the problems, as well as data files with much of the given information in the problems pre-entered.
The chapters of the book have been grouped into several units as show below. Complete the problems in one or more units, and for an additional fee earn up to 9 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Simply complete the examination booklet included on the CD-ROM, and submit your work to Haestad Methods for grading.
